Instructions for Twin Lakes Virtual Race
Step 1 – Complete your virtual run/s on your own course, at your own pace, anytime between 19th March and 10th April. This can be at home on a treadmill if you wish. You don’t have to do all of the distance at the same time. The distance can also be over 20 miles if you wish.
Step 2 – Take a screenshot or photo of your Garmin, Strava or any other tracking app or device. We know that you have done the training already, so this could even be a photo of you in running gear.
Step 3 – Go to https://myevents.active.com/ and sign in using the email address and password you registered with.
Click ‘Upload document’ to submit your image.
You have from 9 am on Friday 19th March to midnight on Friday 10th April to do this. The file must be in pdf, jpg or png format and less than 1mb in size.
The mesage will change to ‘pending’ as we need to approve our end, which is just a formality.
Step 4 – We will prepare the mailing labels from the 11th and will then post your t-shirt and medal after the Bank Holiday weekend to the address given on your original registration. If you need to change this address, you can also do this on Active under ‘Edit Registration’. Please change any details BEFORE you submit your evidence.
Please be patient. Plans have had to be changed rapidly in the Twin Lakes 20 office to allow this event to happen virtually and posting out medals is a very manual and costly process that will take time. Be assured that we will be doing our best to get your medals out to you as quickly as we possibly can.
